GOSHEN —
The Birdland Big Band is coming to Goshen College for a Performing Arts Series concert Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall.
Tickets are available through the Goshen College Welcome Center by calling (574) 535-7566 or e-mailing welcomecenter@goshen.edu. Every week, the musicians perform as the house band for the famed New York City jazz club Birdland.
Birdland Big Band is an American 15-piece (five saxes, three trombones, four trumpets, piano, bass, drums) jazz orchestra led by renowned drummer Tommy Igoe.

Country musician Kris Kristofferson is scheduled to perform at The Lerner Theater, 410 S. Main St., Aug. 10. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30. -
