GOSHEN —
The Goshen High School Advanced Crimson Choir will be the featured choir performing with the South Bend Symphony at the annual holiday concert, “Home for the Holidays,” at the Morris Civic Auditorium in South Bend. There will be two performances: Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.
The choir will perform a number of works with the symphony including Robert Shaw’s “Many Moods of Christmas (Suite 3),” selections from the “Messiah, “The Angel Carol” by John Rutter and “O Holy Night” with professional soprano, Susan Nelson.
Marcia Yost is the director.
“This tremendous opportunity came to us as a wonderful invitation” Yost said. “We are very excited about the opportunity to sing with this fine symphony under the direction of Maestro Tsung. It is also wonderful for our students to have this opportunity to perform at the Morris Civic Auditorium.”
Tickets are available through the Morris Civic box office at 235-9190 or online at morriscenter.org.
The theater is located at 211 N. Michigan St. in South Bend.
