— Kathy Troyer, who with her husband Virgil serve as Mennonite Central Committee's Disaster Management Coordinators for Central American, Mexico and the Caribbean, will be in the Goshen area Sunday, May 23, to give a first-hand update on MCC's response to the Haiti earthquake.
Following the Haiti earthquake, the Troyers relocated to Port au Prince (from their base in Tegucigalpa, Honduras) and have been dividing their time between Haiti and Akron, Pa., coordinating MCC's Haiti earthquake response.
The presentations will be at:
9:30 a.m. – Worship (Moment for Missions) followed by a Sunday School class focused on Haiti at College Mennonite Church, 1900 S. Main St., Goshen
3 p.m. – MCC Haiti Update at Eighth Street Mennonite Church (in the Fellowship Hall), 602 S. 8th St., Goshen
6 p.m. – MCC Haiti Update at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church (in the Fellowship Hall), 63846 C.R. 35, Goshen
