GOSHEN —
Ten Thousand Villages in Goshen will host Oriental rug events Wednesday through Oct. 15.
A collection of more than 300 heirloom-quality Oriental rugs, handknotted by “fairly paid” adults in Pakistan will be featured.
At 7 p.m. Thursday, Ten Thousand Villages will present an “Introduction to Oriental Rug” Seminar. Learn how Oriental rugs are made, from dyeing the wool to tying the fringes. The seminar will be presented by staff from the store’s corporate rug gallery in Ephrata, Pa.
Rug event hours will be: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.
