GOSHEN — New Perspectives on Faith will host a Saturday morning seminar with Philip Gulley Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of College Mennonite Church, 1900 S. Main St., Goshen.
The seminar will be based on Gulley’s latest two books, “If the Church Were Christian: Rediscovering the Values of Jesus” and “The Evolution of Faith: How God is Creating a Better Christianity.” This event is for all those interested in an open discussion of thoughts and ideas that help shape a progressive faith.
A Quaker pastor and author from Danville, Gulley has published 17 books, including the acclaimed Harmony series chronicling life in the eccentric Quaker community of Harmony, Ind., and the best-selling Porch Talk series of inspirational and humorous essays. Gulley’s memoir, “I Love You, Miss Huddleston: And Other Inappropriate Longings of My Indiana Childhood,” recounts his coming-of-age years in Danville.
The cost of the seminar is $30. A registration form may be downloaded from www.NewPerspectivesGoshen.org.

New Perspectives on Faith is a ministry of the Outreach Commission of College Mennonite Church.
