A 22-year-old Cromwell man reportedly jumped from his mother’s moving vehicle Wednesday along Ind. 15 between C.R. 40 East and C.R. 40 West.
The incident occurred shortly before 6 p.m., according to Elkhart County police. The man was airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
Police reported that paperwork was to be forworded to the hospital for a 24-hour mental health evaluation to be completed on the man.
