The 20th Annual Cruisin’ ’Cuse will be Saturday at the Syracuse Community Center, 1013 N. Long Drive, across from Lakeside Park.
The car show will be Saturday from 8 a.m to 3 p.m. in Syracuse.
Owners of classic cars, street rods, antiques and collector cars plus motorcycles and trucks are invited to enter their vehicles for judging and displays.
Those entering the show will vie for the Best of Show Trophy, which is a judged event. Along with the trophy, Hoosier Hot Rods has donated $100 cash for the winner. Also judged will be Best Paint, Best Interior and Best Engine.
Other awards include the Denny Mock Memorial/Dave Riding’s State Farm Insurance Trophy, the Town Manager’s Choice Trophy and the Fire Department Choice Trophy, with the winners selected by someone from each group.
There will also be trophies for first- and second-place judged events.
The event is sponsored by the Wawasee Kiwanis, who are planning to have an ambulance from Riley Hospital for Children on display.
Riley Hospital is the major charity Indiana’s Kiwanis clubs’ support, and the ambulance was purchased with donations from those clubs.
Culminating the Saturday activities will be a vehicle parade around Lake Wawasee beginning in town at 3:15 p.m. Friday. The local McDonald’s will sponsor its annual Cruise-In with more than 100 vehicles on display.
All are invited to bring their specialized cars, and there is no entry fee. To enter the Saturday competitions, call Robert Vandal at 457-2401. Entry fees range from $5 (non-judged vehicle) to $15. Cruisin’ T-shirts are available for $10.
