Two killed, two injured in head-on crash

MENTONE, Ind. (AP) — Police say two men were killed and two were critically injured in a head-on crash on a rural northern Indiana road.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s deputies say a car traveling westbound on Indiana 25 near Mentone was passing another vehicle when it struck a pickup truck head-on about noon Sunday.

Two passengers in the car were killed. They are identified as 20-year-old Ryan S. Holloway of Rochester and 18-year-old Bryant M. Scott of Tippecanoe. The driver of the car, 18-year-old Nathan Creighton of Warsaw, and another passenger, 20-year-old Shawn A. Keckler of Rochester, are in critical condition at Parkview hospital in Fort Wayne.

The driver of the pickup truck was treated and released with minor injuries.
