The 29th annual House of Holly fund-raiser will take place Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. at the home of Dave and Bets Hahn, 26657 C.R. 48 Nappanee.
Members of the Eta Zeta Chapter of Psi Iota XI have decorated the home with items that visitors can bid on in a silent auction. A variety of Christmas items, fall-themed items, home decor, games, food, gift baskets and more will be available with approximately 163 items set out for bid.
Organizers estimate about 300 visitors and 200 bidders attend annually. The sorority’s “famous secret recipe” cheese balls will also be available for sale that day at $5 each. Homemade the day before the event for optimal freshness.
Refreshments will be served in the authentic log cabin behind the home.
This event is a major fund-raiser for the organization, which then uses the funds for a variety of community projects. Monies raised stay in the community. Psi Iota XI offers scholarships to local students as well as focus on speech, hearing and the arts. The Eta Zeta chapter has approximately 25 members.
