Farm Wagon to arrive at different time

THE GOSHEN NEWS

LAGRANGE — Beginning Jan. 4, the scheduled arrival time for the Community Harvest Farm Wagon at Parkview LaGrange Hospital will change to 2 p.m.

Anyone needing food is encouraged to arrive at least a half hour before the scheduled arrival of the Farm Wagon. The location of the Monday Farm Wagon is on the north side of Parkview LaGrange Hospital at 207 N. Townline Road in LaGrange.

There is no change to the Farm Wagon’s scheduled time for its Thursday visit to the Church of Christ, located at the intersection of Townline and U.S. 20 in LaGrange.

According to Ann Kadish, spokeswoman for Parkview, during these cold winter months, the Community Harvest Farm Wagon may find it necessary to cancel its visits due to extreme weather conditions. If the weather reports at 7 a.m. on the day of service indicate that Allen County temperatures will be 10 degrees or below, or that road conditions are dangerous due to excessive snow or ice, the Farm Wagon’s visits for that day will be canceled.

Community Harvest of Allen County will notify local TV and radio stations, including Thunder Country Radio, of the cancellation. Announcement of any cancellations will also be posted on the Community Harvest’s Web site at www.chfb.org.
