ELKHART —
The Midwest RV Super Show in Elkhart kicked off Thursday at the RV/Motor Home Hall of Fame.
The event features nine area dealers showing off new 2012 and 2013 models.
According to show director Mark Bowersox, the RV business is going strong and the show proves that.
“It’s a Thursday, which is usually the lowest attended day (for the show) and it’s been raining off and on,” he said, “but there’s people out here.” Bowersox estimated there have been a few hundred people through the show as of Thursday afternoon.
This the first year for the show being held at the RV/MH Hall of Fame.
The move has doubled the size of the show, according to Bowersox, and this year there are about 200 models on display, he said.
The show runs through Sunday with hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Show admission is $6 for adults, free for children aged 15 and younger and for $10 admission to both the show and the hall of fame is included.
