Safe Kids Elkhart County Pirates 9, FOP Orioles 7: Reece Fisher, Felipe Gomez and Raul Gomez each had two hits and Daniel Hidalgo one for the Pirates.
Raul Gomez (three strikeouts) was the winning pitcher and Hildalgo (four) pitched in relief. Cruz Garcia,
Isaac Miller and Alex Santana had hits for the Orioles. Braxton Kincaid (Seven strikeouts) and Colin Turner (four) pitched.
Major Baseball
A’s 3, Terry’s Carpet Cleaning White Sox 2: Joey Peebles slapped two hits and Jose Pizana one for the A’s. Winning pitcher Peebles struck out nine.
Will Koshmider had two hits and an RBI, Joseph Burkheimer and Dylan Hossler one apiece for the White Sox.
Peyton Cripe pitched, striking out two.

GOSHEN — The Bethel Pilots edged Indiana University-Southeast, 1-0, in the elimination game of the NAIA National Championship in Cleveland, Tennessee. The recent Crossroads League Pitcher of the Year sophomore Natalie Newell (Goshen) hurled a no-hitter for the first-ever no-hitter by Bethel in the NAIA National Tournament.
