High school boys' baseball results

Wawasee rallies to edge NorthWood



Wawasee scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning Monday for a 6-5 Northern Lakes Conference win over NorthWood at Syracuse.

Josh Dingeldein had the game-winning, two-RBI hit. Mike Milligan, Jake Sommers and Hayden Shock also had two hits each for the Warriors. Jose Rodriguez was the winning pitcher in relief.

Wawasee, 11-7 overall and 5-5 in the NLC, visits Northridge on Wednesday.

Wawasee won the JV game, 11-6, with Jordan Schmitt, Jeremy Sorenson, Tyler Hare and Houston Rodes the top hitters. Fleagle was the winning pitcher. Roberts homered for NorthWood.



Lyle, Bowen, Foster homer for Lakeland



Lakeland defeated Prairie Heights, 8-5, Monday in a Northeast Corner Conference outing at Brushy Prairie.

Lyle, Bowen and Foster all homered for the Lakers and Bates was the winning pitcher.



Warsaw stays in NLC title chase



Warsaw outlasted Plymouth, 10-6, in NLC action Monday.

James Miglin doubled twice for the Tigers. Howe and Elliott homered for Plymouth.

Warsaw is 16-3 overall and 8-2 in the league, Plymouth 12-6 and 4-6.



Fairfield ‘C’ team trimmed by Marian



Fairfield’s “C” team lost to Mishawaka Marian, 15-3.

Chase Beyler had two singles for the Falcons, Aaron Mascarenas, Dustin Smallwood, Pierce Zent and Riley Miller one hit each.
