West Noble girls capture Class 3A sectional title

Senior Jordan Ritchie singled home the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as the West Noble Chargers, edged Wawasee, 2-1, in the Class 3A sectional championship Thursday night at Columbia City.

Ritchie was also the winning pitcher.

West Noble (21-9) advances to the regional Saturday, June 6 at Bellmont.

Wawasee finishes 15-11.
