BOYS TENNIS ROUNDUP

Goshen sectional delayed to Monday



The championship match of a high school boys tennis sectional Saturday at Goshen Middle School was postponed due to rain.

The event will continue Monday at 4:30 p.m. Jimtown is leading in two matches, Fairfield in one and two are tied. Jimtown leaders are Shane Cook (2-1) at No. 1 singles, John Raderstorf and Nicklaus Anglemyer (2-1) at No. 2 doubles. Joshua Beck and Derick Troeger of Fairfield have a 2-0 lead at No. 1 doubles. Wyatt Stutzman of Fairfield and Matt Candler of Jimtown are tied 1-1 at No. 1 singles, Brad Shipley of Fairfield and Bret Giddings of Jimtown 1-1 at No. 3 singles.

Saturday’s semifinals were moved inside to the Maple City Racquet Club where Fairfield defeated Bethany Christian 4-1 and Jimtown blanked NorthWood 5-0.
