GHS freshmen 7-0 in NLC

Goshen High School’s freshman football team wrapped up an unbeaten Northern Lakes Conference season Tuesday night with a 27-7 win over Wawasee at Foreman Field.

Justin Klabusich rushed for 149 yards on 25 tries, scoring a touchdown. Tyler Slagel was 6-of-7 passing for 61 yards and a scdore, Austin Henke catching three for 57 and the TD.

Robert Hoemig played the entire game in the offensive and defensive lines.

Inside linebacker Jesse Good led the defense with 10 tackles. Cristian Barron had an interception.

Goshen finished with an 8-1 overall record.

P.J. Seman had 70 yards on 12 carries with a touchdown for Wawasee which closed at 6-3 on the season.
