WARSAW — Ruby J. Nisley Miller, 71, 300 E. Prairie St., died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday at Warsaw Meadows Nursing Home, where she had resided two years.

She was born Aug. 21, 1937, in Denver, Colo., to Charles Jones and Jessie (Kuhns) Detwiler. She lived in Goshen most of her life.

She married Clayton “Sone” Nisley on Dec. 29, 1953. He died June 6, 1969. She married Ernest D. Miller April 2, 1977, in Syracuse. He died Sept. 18, 1989.

She was a sales representative and in customer service for 18 years at Sam’s Club, retiring in 2002. She was a member of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel and enjoyed sewing and crafts. She was also a licensed florist.

She is survived by a son, Douglas Nisley, Goshen; a daughter, Terri Turner, Goshen; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Arlene McCormack, Richland, N.C., and Mary (John) Baumer, Tucson, Ariz.

A memorial service will take place Monday at 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior.

Private family burial will take place in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
