Athalene Brazeal, 60, Wilkinson Street, Goshen, died Thursday at 3:45 a.m. at East Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Elkhart.
She was born Nov. 3, 1949 in Wilson, Ark., to Fred and Jewel (Dyron) Springer. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her two daughters, Charlotte (Jason) Perkins, Middlebury, and Melissa (Robert) Pernokis, Goshen; three sisters, Betty Todd, Goshen, Charlotte (Kenneth) Moore, Hardy, Ark., and Sue Looney, Goshen; two brothers, Robert (Jane) Springer, Goshen, and Scott (Victoria) Springer, Edwarsburg, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Liann Miller, Leah Miller, Shadow Beck, Anthony Beck, Dessa Null, Shiann Null and Kyle Miller; and five great-grandchildren, Athalia Aguilar, Kloie Bryant, Nylie Agular, Nyra Leach and Laylah Beck.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and a sister, Joyce Taylor.
Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, where the funeral service will take place Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery.
