Ernest Hauck Jr.

Goshen — Ernest Hauck Jr., 71, died early Saturday morning at IU Health Goshen Hospital.

Ernest “Bud” was born March 14, 1941 in Huntington to Ernest and Betty (Steele) Hauck, Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Hauck: a sister, Linda Damron; a brother, Mark Hauck and a nephew, Brian Damron, all of Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Kevin Damron.

A lifelong Goshen resident he worked for IXL Furniture Company and Homecrest, retiring in 2003.

While working at Homecrest he loved to bowl on the company league team and won several first place awards.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m., Thursday funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
