Decima A. ‘Dollie’ Butt

June 29, 1923-Jan. 23, 2013

SYRACUSE — Decima A. “Dollie” Butt, 89, passed away Wednesday at IU Health Goshen Hospital.

She was born June 29, 1934 in Indian Village, to Arthur C. and Violet Ann (Prentice) Kolberg.

On Oct. 4, 1943, she married Dale Butt, who preceded her in death in 2005.

She was a lifelong area resident. She retired from Syracuse State Bank and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Butt, Syracuse; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Poyser, Cromwell.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son; two daughters; a daughter-in-law; a brother; and five sisters.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, where services will take place Monday at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow at Indian Village Cemetery.
