NORTH WEBSTER — Mrs. Phyllis C. Piper 85, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Jane.
She was born Aug. 26, 1927 in Chicago, Ill., to Albert and Marie (Flanders) Clark.
On July 5, 1946, she married Edgar Glen Piper in Independence, Kan. He died in 2005.
She is survived by three daughters, Jane (Tom) Davis, North Webster, Robin (Daren) Rader, Elkhart, and Rebecca Piper, Tacoma, Wash.; a son, Joe (Darlene) Piper, Hendersonville, N.C.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ronald (Barbara) Clark, Denver, Colo.
Mrs. Piper was a homemaker and worked at Johnson Controls in assembly prior to her retirement. She was a member of Christian Fellowship of Goshen.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen, where a funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday. Pastor Craig Garber of Christian Fellowship of Goshen will officiate.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
