Arden Baker

Nov. 15, 1955-Jan. 28, 2013

SYRACUSE — Arden Baker, 57, died Monday at his residence.

He was born Nov. 15, 1955 in Huntington, to Joe and Mae Baker. He came to Syracuse from California in 1998. He was an independent truck driver, mechanic, logger and overall handyman. He attended Millersburg Church of Christ.

He is survived by his son, Mark (Missy) Baker, Cromwell; daughter, Lola Mae Baker, Syracuse; brother, Bill Baker; and sister, Sarah Baker.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson.

There will be two hours of calling prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service Saturday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. The Rev. David Main will officiate at the service.

Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in North Manchester.
