John D. Anderson

May 14, 1932-June 27, 2012

ELKHART — John D. Anderson, 80, of Pembrook Lane, died 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at his residence.  

He was born May 14, 1932, in Elkhart to Harry G. & Hertha (Milan) Anderson.  

He married Kim (Hunsberger) Anderson on Dec. 28, 1972.

John is a veteran from the U.S. Army and a member of the Dunlap United Methodist Church. He is a retired pharmacist and previously was a salesman for the Eli Lily Company.

Surviving are his wife, Kim, daughter, Lori (Tony) Nonte, Colorado Springs, Colo., brother, George (Dorothy) Anderson, Bristol, and four grandchildren.  

Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother, Robert Anderson.

A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. on Monday, July 9, at Dunlap United Methodist Church. Pastor Joe Smith of the church will officiate.  

Memorials may be directed to the Dunlap United Methodist Church or the Elkhart County Humane Society. Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, is handling arrangements.
