Violet ‘Edelva’ Butt

June 18, 1919-March 10, 2012

SYRACUSE — Violet “Edelva” Butt, 92, Syracuse, died Saturday at 1:58 p.m. at Millers Merry Manor, Syracuse.

She married Frederick R. “Fred” Butt Oct. 12, 1940. He preceded her in death Dec. 25, 1994.

She is survived by a daughter, Toni (Roger) Lemon, Kimmell; and a son, Burton (Hinke) Butt, Syracuse.

Friends may call Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the North Webster Cemetery (Mock Addition).
