Waneta V. (Rock) Kuczynski

Sept. 30, 1922-Feb. 3, 2010

Waneta V. (Rock) Kuczynski, 87, 2502 Berkey Ave., Goshen, died Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. at her residence.

She was born Sept. 30, 1922 in Syracuse, to Murrill and Bernice (Clark) Neff. In 1940, she graduated from New Paris High School.

She was a homemaker and attended First United Methodist Church Life Center, Goshen. She was a member of the Sunshine Stroller Square Dancers, Port St. Lucie, Fla.

She married Nelson Rock Oct. 20, 1940. He died Nov. 1, 1988.

She married Robert Kuczynski April 5, 1995. He died Jan. 23, 2005.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Rosalie) Rock, Goshen; daughter, Judy (David) Myers, New Paris; sister, Phyllis Hollar, Goshen; two brothers, Elmer (Dorothy) Neff, Goshen, and Robert (Kaye) Neff, New Paris; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Rock; brother, Harold “Bud” Neff; sister, Anna Mary Wilhelm; grandson, Richard Allen Rock; and granddaughter, Angela K. Myers.

Friends may call Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen.

The funeral service will take place Tuesday at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church Life Center, 1212 W. Plymouth Ave., Goshen. The Revs. Ed and Brenda Fritz of First United Methodist Church Life Center will lead the service.

Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Waterford Commons for Alzheimer’s Patients or Care at Home Hospice of Goshen General Hospital.
