Marjorie H. Trook

BRADENTON, Fla. — Marjorie H. Trook, 88, died Sunday.

Born in Peru, Ind., she moved to Bradenton in 1982 from Goshen.

A Veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II, she was Owner/Operator of the B&K Drive-In in Goshen for 27 years, she was an avid supporter of the Humane Society and was a member of American Legion Kirby Stewart Post 24, and was a member of the American Legion for 52 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kind and Eva Howell; and two brothers, Jim and John Howell.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Robert, Bradenton, Florida; a daughter, Dawn, Ellenton, Florida; an adopted daughter, Mary (Dennis) Yoder, Goshen; a brother, Harold Howell, Peru, Ind.; and two sisters, Willa Bullock and Irene Parrett, both of Peru, Ind.

Services with Military Honors will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Fla.

Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26th Street Chapel, is in charge or arrangements.

Memorial Donations may be directed to the Humane Society of Manatee County.
