Harriet Stahley

Aug. 18, 1916-Feb. 4, 2013

SYRACUSE — Harriet Stahley, 96, passed away Monday at Miller’s Merry Manor in Syracuse.

She was born Aug. 18, 1916 in Elkhart County, to Raymond and Mildred (Biller) Warstler.

She had been a Syracuse resident since 1942 coming from South Bend where she was educated at the University of Notre Dame and was employed as an engineer at Ball Band.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Stahley Sr., who died on April 7, 1958.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Tanskey of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; her son, Ralph Stahley of Syracuse; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

There will be a memorial service and interment at the Syracuse Cemetery at a later date.

Eastlund Funeral Home of Syracuse is handling the arrangements for the family.
