ELKHART —
Dennis R. “Shorty” Streetman, 46, passed away Wednesday at his residence.
He was born March 9, 1966 in Elkhart, to Glenwood and Betty L. (Helenbolt) Streetman.
On July 6, 1988, he married Pamela E. (Wood) Streetman in LaGrange.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Doug Streetman of Elkhart; daughter, Priscilla Streetman of Dunlap; brother, David Streetman of Dunlap; and a granddaughter, Haleigh Streetman of Dunlap.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Glenna Sue Steiner.
He graduated from Concord High School with the class of 1985. Dennis was the owner and operator of Shorty’s Towing Inc. for more than 10 years.
Shorty enjoyed spending time fishing and was an avid collector of vintage toy automobiles. His greatest joy was caring for and spending time with his granddaughter, Haleigh.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and two hours prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service Monday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. The Rev. Michael Lake will officiate.
Interment will follow at Frame Cemetery.
