Bernard J. Zornow

July 30, 1922-April 14, 2012

ELKHART — Bernard J. “Ben” Zornow, 89, died Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at Riverside Village, Elkhart.

He married Eleanor J. Erickson Oct. 10, 1944. She died Oct. 20, 1996.

He is survived by his four sons, Thomas (Diana) Zornow, Bristol, Richard Zornow, Goshen, Kenneth (Denise) Zornow, Brighton, Tenn., and the Rev. George (Diana) Zornow, Leipsie, Ohio; and a daughter, Christine Jeffirs, Elkhart.

Friends may call today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, Elkhart.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Augustana Lutheran Church, Elkhart.

Burial with military rites will follow at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart.
