James Dewey Buchanan

May 2, 1923-May 8, 2012

ELKHART —  James “Jim” Dewey Buchanan Jr., 89, passed away at Elkhart Hospice House at 2:39 a.m. Tuesday.

He married Esther Bowman Dec. 31, 1942. She survives in addition to two sons, Terry Buchanan and Jack Buchanan; and two daughters, Sue Searer and Kay Buchanan.

Friends may call Monday one hour prior to an 11 a.m. memorial service at Creekside Church of the Brethren in Elkhart.

Cremation will take place with burial in Rice Cemetery, Elkhart.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
