ELKHART —
Lloyd E. Mikel, 83, Hubbard Hill Retirement Center, formerly of Nappanee, died Friday at 7:10 a.m.
He married Eleanor J. Harmon July 23, 1949. She died June 18, 1977.
He married Mary Deferbache in 1978. She survives.
Also surviving are sons, Dennis (Marjorie) Mikel, Goshen, Jack and Eldon (Kathy) Mikel, both of Nappanee; daughter, Jane (Lee) Farney, Wakarusa; and stepsons, Fred and Bob (Debbie) Deferbache, both of Elkhart, and Don Deferbache, Orlando, Fla.
Family and friends may call Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, where funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery.
