UNION, Mich. — Randall E. Swarm, 54, Union, Mich., died Saturday, April 21, at 12:35 a.m.

He was born Nov. 21, 1957, in Elkhart, to Herbert E. and Treva (Frey) Swarm.

He is survived by his partner, Barbara Dygulski; a son, Grant (Christine) Swarm, Indianapolis; a daughter, Alison Swarm, St. Paul, Minn.; a sister, Marcia (Mike) Miller, Middlebury; and Barb’s daughter, Sarah Dygulski, New York City.

He worked in sales at Hull Lift Truck and was a member of Ducks Unlimited and the Elkhart County Drug Task Force. He loved the Long Lake and enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting. He also had his pilots license and loved to fly.

Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 10 to 11 a.m., both at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen. The funeral service is scheduled for Monday at 11 a.m., also at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Overpeck officiating.

Burial will follow at Olive (East) Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Indianapolis, Ind.
