GOSHEN — Joseph Andrew Large

Feb. 15, 1988-March 18, 2012

ROCHELLE, Ill. — Joseph Andrew Large, 24, passed away Sunday at White Pines State Park.

Joseph was born Feb. 15, 1988 in Goshen, Ind., the son of Steven Ray Large and Dianna Lynn McDermitt.

Joe will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Joe’s tender heart was apparent in his love of animals and nature. He was at his happiest when outside, whether fishing, hiking or on an adventure. Joe’s work ethic and ability were apparent to all. Joe’s life was too brief but will live on forever in the memories of his family and partner, “the love of his life,” Brittany Underhill.

Joe is survived by his father, Steven (Karen) Large of Middlebury, Ind.; mother, Dianna (Juan) Roman of Rochelle; three brothers, Seth (Rachelle) Large of Syracuse, Ind., Christopher (Brandi) Large of Houston, Texas, and Thaddeus (Destiny Stocklin) Large of Goshen, Ind.; three sisters, Alissa (Hector Ledezma) Large, Amy (Juan Ramirez) Large and Jessica (Jose) Cedeño all of Goshen, Ind.; grandparents, Hugh and Ann McDermitt of Rochelle, and Ray and Florence Large of Hillsboro, Ohio.

A funeral service will take place Saturday at 11 a.m. at Unger-Horner Funeral Home, Rochelle, with the Rev. James Tilley officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.

Memorials are to be established. To sign the online guest book, visit www.ungerhorner.com.
