Levi D. Miller

GOSHEN — Levi D. Miller, 73, died Monday afternoon at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in a truck accident in Genoa, Ohio.

He was born Nov. 7, 1939, to David Jr. and Mattie E. (Hershberger) Miller in Middlebury.

On July 7, 1990, he married Nora Kaufman, in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives.

Also surviving are a son, Mervin (Tammy) Miller, Goshen; three daughters, Carla (Lamar) Mullet, Milford, Cheryl Miller and Teresa (Matthew) Falk, both of Nappanee; two stepsons, Roger (Yvonne) Kaufman and Jeff (Laura) Kaufman, both of Nappanee; two stepdaughters, Cindy Miller, Nappanee, and Tania Wood, South Bend, 28 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alvin (Lydia Mae) Miller, and Lloyd (Lora Mae) Miller, both of Middlebury; and four sisters, Katie (Olen) Nisley, Goshen, Mary (Rudy) Schmucker, Ohio, Anna (Perry) Whetstone, Shipshewana, and Esther (Albert) Hochstetler, Topeka.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Daniel; and two sisters, Wilma and Polly.

Mr. Miller enjoyed time with his family, his hobby trains, and his dog, Duke. He truly enjoyed driving semi-trucks, most recently with G&R Trucking. Mr. Miller attended New Paris Church of the Brethren.

Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday at New Paris Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Stan Godfrey will officiate.

Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
