Alvin L. Boyer

UNION, Mich. — Alvin L. Boyer, 74, died Tuesday at the home of his son, Dion.

He was married to Arlene M. Dolph who died Oct. 24, 2011.

He is survived by a daughter, Karmen (Paul) Lightfoot; sons, Dean, Dan and Dion (Taya) Boyer; and his mother, Ruth Boyer.

His body has been cremated. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Vandalia Lodge 290, 15598 U.S. 12, Union.

Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart, Ind., is handling arrangements.
