AVON PARK, Fla. —
Merl “Red” Morrow, 80, passed away Wednesday in Avon Park.
He was born March 29, 1932 to Merl and Pauline P. (Davis) Morrow in Goshen, Ind. He had been a resident of Avon Park since 1992, coming from Michigan. He was a public school custodian and a veteran of the United States Army, serving during peace time. He was a member of the American Legion, enjoyed woodworking and carving and was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his sons, David Morrow, Michigan; Robert Morrow and Doug Morrow, both of Idaho; daughters, Bonnie (Ed) Hill, Indiana, and Cathy (Chet) Neal, Michigan; stepbrother, Wayne Stringfellow, Indiana; stepsister, Arena Gingerich, Indiana; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Morrow.
