GOSHEN — David Wayne Cotherman, 52, passed away at 8:50 a.m. Monday at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born Feb. 14, 1960 in Goshen, to James A. and Mary Jo (Smith) Cotherman.
David is survived by his mother, Mary Jo Cotherman of Goshen; two sisters, Deborah L. Cotherman of Augusta, Ga., and Cheryl A. Cotherman of Fitzgerald, Ga.; a brother, James A. Cotherman II of Morganton, N.C.; and seven aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Terri Jo; and his father, James A. Cotherman.
A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
David worked as a bartender at Double D’s in Goshen and was an avid sports enthusiast who loved the Minnesota Vikings.
Memorial donations may be given to the United Cancer Services of Elkhart County or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
