Randall ‘Randy’ Edward Herman

Sept. 2, 1953-Feb. 16, 2013

SOUTH BEND — Randall Edward Herman, 59, passed away at 2:55 a.m. Saturday at Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation.

He was born Sept. 2, 1953 in South Bend, to Richard A. and Geraldine L. (Antes) Herman.

Randy worked as an auto body repairman and also worked at several RV companies. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing and riding his Harley.

He was married to Cindy Lambie, who preceded him in death March 3, 1989 in North Liberty.

Randy is survived by his eight children, Jodie Alexander of North Liberty, Christina Farrish of Dallas, Texas, Jason Bare, Aaron Bare and Amy Bare, all of LaPaz, Audria (Chris) Glennon of Walkerton, Randi Davis of Dayton, Ohio, and Rachel Herman of North Liberty. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and his father, Richard Herman of South Bend.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Herman; his wife, Cindy Herman; and two brothers, Richard L. Herman and Rolland A. Herman.

A memorial service will take place Friday at 6 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1954, 66992 Tamarack Road, North Liberty.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
