Steven K. Jacobs

GOSHEN — Steven K. Jacobs, 69, died early Tuesday morning at IU Health Goshen Hospital, where he had been a patient for a week.

He was born Dec. 28, 1942 in Goshen, to William H. and Eva Fay (Whitmer) Jacobs.

He is survived by two sons, Dale (Laurie) Jacobs, Grand Haven, Mich., and Tracy (Angel) Jacobs, Goshen; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Jacobs; and a sister, Betty Kyle.

A lifetime Goshen resident, Mr. Jacobs served with the United States Army from 1960 to 1963.  He attended Goshen High School and was devoted to his longtime companion, Harley, his rat terrier.

A graveside service with military honors by the Goshen Honor Guard will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the Veterans’ Section of Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.

Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, is assisting with arrangements.
