ELKHART — Bea E. Austin, 91, died Monday.

On Aug. 24, 1940, she married John E. Austin, who died in 1996.

She is survived by a son, John (Rhonda) Austin; and four daughters, Nancy (John) Rinker, Jean (Mike) Elder, V. Kay (Brad) Rines and Jackie (Stan) Treadway.

Friends may call two hours prior to the 11 a.m. service Thursday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing, Elkhart.

Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart.
