Dorllas M. Kline

Feb. 25, 1925-June 19, 2009

SYRACUSE — Dorllas M. Kline, 84, Syracuse, died Friday at 3:15 p.m. at Goshen General Hospital.

She was born Feb. 25, 1925, to Frank and Myrtle (Malone) Steffe in LaGrange County.

She moved to the area in 1958, coming from Kendallville.

She retired from Kreuter Manufacturing in New Paris.

She is survived by two daughters, Connie (Jack) Spitler, Syracuse, and Stacy (Jeff) Troxel, Wakarusa; a son, Stephen (Kimberly), Syracuse; eight grandchildren, Jeff and Megan Spitler, Kim Minnick, Stephen, Michael and Jeffery Conrad, and Brayden and Ashley Troxel; four great-grandchildren, Brandie and Kyle Spitler and Mallorie and Wes Minnick; and two great-great-grandchildren, Austin Spitler and Dante Kaufman.

She was preceded by her parents and four siblings, Wayne Leo, Alvin and Frank Jr. Steffe, and Lucille Weible.

Visitation was Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse.

Services were today at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in English Prairie Cemetery, Mongo.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
