June 28, 1921-June 22, 2009

NILES, Mich. — Robert E. Colen, 87, died at his residence Monday morning.

He married Betty L. Sheets on May 29, 1965, in Niles, Mich. She died April 24, 2005.

He is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Donald) Rudnick, Little Egg Harbor, N.J.; and a stepson, Robert Warren, Elkhart.

Visitation is set for 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, where the funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m.

Cremation will take place, with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be directed to Shriner’s Crippled Children Hospital.
