WARSAW — Jean R. Wiseman, 84, of Warsaw, passed away on Saturday at Mason Healthcare & Rehabilitation.
She was born Oct. 11, 1927 in Goshen to Chauncey L. and Grace (Follis) Bailey.
On Feb. 24, 1946, she married Emery Wiseman, who preceded her in 1971.
She was born and raised in Goshen and moved to Kosciusko County in 1949. She was a machine operator for G.T.I. in Leesburg for 30 years. She was a member of the Country Bible Church in North Webster. She was formerly a member and past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Marta McDade of Winona Lake; one son, Gerald Wiseman of Warsaw; eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; one sister, Janet Madison of Florida; two half-sisters, Betty Seymour of Middlebury, and Bonnie Boner of California; one half-brother, Roland Bailey of Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by one son, one grandson, one granddaughter, two sisters and four brothers.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Eastlund Funeral Home.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Eastlund Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at the Oswego Cemetery.
