Esther R. (Balyeat) Stevens

Nov. 22, 1925-Jan. 31, 2010

ELKHART — Esther R. (Balyeat) Stevens, 84, died Sunday at 4:32 p.m. at Elkhart Hospice House.

She was married to Daniel Floyd Balyeat for 43 years until his death in 1988.

She married John Stevens Oct. 12, 1991, in Elkhart. He survives

Other survivors include a son, Dan (Sue West) Balyeat, Union, Mich.; and two daughters, Diana (Jim) Everett, Bristol, and Karen (Duane) Thompson, Elkhart; two stepsons, John (Marsha) Stevens, Kalamazoo, Mich., and Bryan (Michelle) Stevens, Versailles, Ky.; two stepdaughters, Ethel (Stan) Ramsey, Elkhart, and Gayle (Ken) Sparks, Kalamazoo, Mich.

Visitation will take place Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Elkhart, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Thursday at Beulah Missionary Church, Goshen.

Burial will be in Olive West Cemetery, Wakarusa.
