Glenace L. Kerfin, 97, The Maples, Goshen, formerly of Syracuse, died Sunday at 3:07 p.m. at Goshen General Hospital.
She was born Nov. 21, 1912 in Rockford, Ohio, to Jesse and Carrie (Bury) Spry.
She married William Joseph Kerfin Sept. 7, 1931, in Salina, Ohio. He preceded her in death in 1983.
Glenace moved to the Syracuse area in 1959 from Chicago. She was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Syracuse, St. Martin’s Women’s Society and the Senior Mothers Club of Syracuse.
She is survived by her two daughters, Billie (Everardo) Ganz, Syracuse, and Dianne (Bill) Roberts, Goshen; six grandchildren, Wendy Beyeler, Goshen, Carrie (Keith) Tarver, Indianapolis, Kimberly (Steve) Frauhiger, Goshen, Dale (Benji) Ganz, Syracuse, David (Kelly) Ganz, Syracuse, and James (Linda) Roberts, Goshen; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother; and two sisters.
A mass will take place Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Syracuse, with calling one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Association.
