Mary Lou Paight, 82, of LaGrange, Ind., died Sunday, October 25, 2009 at her residence.
Living her lifetime in LaGrange County, she was a homemaker and a member of the Scott United Methodist Church in Scott, Ind.
Mrs. Paight was born on September 25, 1927 in LaGrange County to Arthur and Hazel (Johnson) Paulus. On May 17, 1947 in Howe, Ind. she married Ellis D. Paight. He preceded her in death on February 3, 1995.
Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda and Ben Swank of Garrett, Ind. and Delora Harker of LaGrange, Ind.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard and Cherl Paight of Howe, and LeRoy Paight of Shipshewana, Ind.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Wolf of South Bend, Ind.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, Beverly Paight in 1956; and a brother, Robert Paulus.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange with Rev. Jeffrey Stedge officiating.
Burial will be in Sidener Cemetery in Shipshewana, Ind.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Scott United Methodist Church.
