ELKHART — Irvin J. “Irv” Polk, 74, died Wednesday at 4:30 a.m. at Elkhart General Hospital.
He married Sandra L. Eitel April 25, 1965, in Elkhart.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra L. Polk, Elkhart; and his son, Marshall (Fran) Simmons, Indianapolis.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Youth for Christ / Lifeline Clubhouse, 174 State St., Elkhart. Parking for the visitation will be available at the top floor public parking garage by the Police Department, Inova Federal Credit Union and the NIBCO skating park lot. Shuttle services will be provided by YFC/Lifeline buses.
The funeral service will take place Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, Goshen, with calling one hour prior to the service.
Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart, is assisting the family with arrangements.
