Clara B. Kuhns, 81, 2906-2 Regent Square Ct., Goshen, died Saturday morning at her home.
She was born June 26, 1928, in Topeka, Kan., to Ben and Malinda (Miller) Borntrager.
She moved to this area when she was very young.
She married Raymond F. Kuhns on June 8, 1957, in Goshen. He died Feb. 27, 1973.
She worked for Meijer stocking shelves, and was a member of Clinton Frame Mennonite Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Malinda Marie (Thomas) Zook, Alto, Mich., Mary Kathryn (Lavon) Yoder, New Paris, and Susan Elaine Yoder, Elkhart; a son, John R. Kuhns, New Paris; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Elizabeth (John) Helmuth, Edna (Freeman) Miller, and Esther (Don) Galloway, all of Topeka, and Ida (Ralph) Johnson, LaGrange.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Polly Fry and Mary Yutzy; and three brothers, Martin, Daniel and Joe Borntrager.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Revs. Terry Diener and Jeff Mumaw officiating.
Burial will be in Yellow Creek Cemetery.
