Linda R. Hoover

March 1, 1948-Nov. 2, 2009

Linda R. Hoover, 61, 711 S. Main St., Goshen, died Monday at 2:20 p.m. at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.

She was born March 1, 1948 in Goshen, to James and Lucille (Knight) Trainor.

She married Steven Hoover Aug. 13, 1965.

She is survived by her husband; son, Jamerson “Jamie” (Julie) Hoover, Goshen; daughter, Teresa (Larry) Hill, Goshen; brother, Ernest “Butch” Knight, Syracuse; sister, Betty (Marlin “Mike”) Ringler, Goshen; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Linda was employed at the Walmart Supercenter, south of Goshen, where she worked in the deli. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, where the funeral service will take place Friday at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. James Fischer of Crossroads Community Church, Elkhart, will lead the service.

Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
