NAPPANEE — Leann Jean Schwartz, 10, 8099 N. 800 West, Nappanee, died Friday at 8:40 p.m. at her residence from complications from cerebral palsy.

She was born Aug. 25, 1999, in Plymouth, to Devon and Esther (Kuhns) Schwartz. She was a lifetime area resident.

She is survived by her parents, Devon and Esther Schwartz, Nappanee; brother, David Lynn Schwartz, at home; sisters, Dora Elaine Schwartz, Cheryl Diane Schwartz, Ruby Fern Schwartz, Jolene Kay Schwartz, Debra Schwartz, Sheila Rose Schwartz, and twin sister, Leora Jane Schwartz, all at home; paternal grandmother, Katie Mae Schwartz, Bourbon; and maternal grandparents, Roman and Martha Kuhns, Bremen.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ernest Schwartz.

Friends may call all day today at the family residence.

The funeral service will take place Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Mark Stutzman residence, 7806 W. 750 North, Nappanee. Bishop Marlin Slabaugh and the home ministers of the Old Order Amish Church will lead the service.

Burial will be in Graber Cemetery, Nappanee.

Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
